TERRACOTTA COURTYARD & DECKING / TOOTING

This courtyard space urgently required a new decking to access the lower section of the garden, as the current situation was rotting dangerously and too steep to be comfortably useable. A warm materials palette of terracotta and tropical blue tiles were chosen to offset the dark fencing and decking. In order to maximise the space, clusters of mixed sized pots were placed instead of planting beds, with a BBQ area and hidden storage under the decking. With a new baby due to arrive, this project also had a definite deadline - achieved with the help of some excellent contractors. It’s a tropical haven for this young couple to enjoy on those sleepless nights!
