“I engaged Rebecca to help me with a complete redesign of my garden whilst I was having a house renovation . The garden was very mature, hadn’t been touched for the 12 years we had been living in the house and had become relatively unusable - no space for children to play, overgrown and run down.
I worked with Rebecca on several designs to open up the garden, make it feel wider, provide space for the children to play and create an indoor/ outdoor entertainment area. I was looking for something a bit more grown-up, modern and stylish as the children are now older where we could host people and entertain.
Rebecca came up with several designs throughout the process, adapting and responding to our feedback. The designs were beautifully visualised, with a mood board of plants and a planting plan. We even had a visual for final heights of the plants!
Rebecca supervised the landscape gardeners and kept us faithful to the design, even when we wavered along the way. I’m so glad that Rebecca kept us honest as the finished garden is stunning!
My favourite part is the creation of a planted flower bed right framed by the picture window in the kitchen. It’s exactly what I wanted and it fills me with joy every single day as I work from home.
I would say that the other transformative elements are the lighting (at night the gardrn is as pretty as it is in the day) and the selection of plants which are just as I imagined but was unable to conceive of left to my own devices.
There is a real mix of plants in the pots that are inspired and sit perfectly together.
My advice would be to totally trust Rebecca’s judgement and the process as Rebecca as a very keen eye for the final vision and how small deviations along the way detract from the original design. I would also trust her recommendations entirely. Rebecca recommended a coffee table and when it arrived it was the perfect look. I didn’t go with the recommendation for the textured pots but I wish I had (I’ll be getting these for the front garden when I get round to it).
The end result is beautifully designed, pared back and very pretty. We have hosted play dates, parties and BBQs in the garden having not used it in years!”

“During lockdown I spent a lot of time in my small SW London garden. It made me realise I love being outside- and- I really didn’t like my garden so it became a priority to do something about it.

I wanted to create an enclosed courtyard feel. A colourful, welcoming place where I would love to be and host friends for a bbq. A place with a rewilded, unstructured flowers but all manageable for a working mum. And I certainly didn’t want it to look like a corporate concrete box.

“Rebecca did a fantastic job designing our garden and we absolutely love it! The shape was there already, but she planned out and designed all of the flowerbeds. After an initial consultation, Rebecca came back to us with lots of ideas and images so she could really pinpoint what type of flowers we liked, what colours and what kind of feel we wanted overall. Then she paid particular attention to when things would flower so we would have things flowing throughout the year rather than all at once.
