Planting Project / Balham

After an extensive house renovation, I was brought on board to work closely with the architect and interior designer and create the planting plan and styling furniture and pots for the front and back gardens.

The project called for some considerate tree and shrub choices (including the wonderful cloud pruned ilex crenata on the kitchen patio), as the back garden frames the view from the kitchen.

The generous oak pergola on the chequered terrace at the rear has been softened with climbers and scented roses and there are two living walls, which all bring together a calming oasis brimming with interest and biodiversity for this young family.
