ENTERTAINING GARDEN / PECKHAM

The previous garden had been much neglected and so a full redesign was required. The client, a keen cook, required a generous seating area for entertaining, a dining table and a cooking area for his Gozney pizza oven and Big Green Egg. The garden has now been divided into zones, with clay pavers creating the seating area and limestone for the dining terrace. A large concrete seating area has been clad with sapele which enhances the overall rich colour palette. Pleached malus evereste (crab apples) create privacy around the dining table, and provide gorgeous spring blossom. Plenty of herbs have been planted to be picked for the BBQ (rosemary and thyme), interspersed with taxes baccata balls for rich evergreen structure. A great spot for a party year round!
